The separate application the estimators work in, replacing an Excel proposal template that was filled by hand for every job. Quote requests arrive from the marketing site. The owner builds the proposal from line items, options, and a site exhibit, and the PDF is emailed to the requester automatically. About 10 proposals go out a week, $100K+ quoted weekly. The hero interaction is a reusable scope-description library with variable templating, not a buried settings page, because reusing long boilerplate scope text was the bottleneck. Ships with enums, a proposal-number sequence, an audit log with a status-change trigger, and row-level security on every table.
